Student atheletes are going to make mistakes just like regular students do. I am not condoning what happened in Lawrence but we need to remember that it has happened in other places as well. If you remember this Nebraska player and Nebraska was put under the microscope after this. This does tarnish the image of The University of Nebraska, it only shows that even student atheletes are human and make mistakes.
I do not think anyone talks about this video clip anymore or thinks of Nebraska in a lesser light because of this incident. Maybe the only image that was tarnished was from some of the journalsits that wrote opinion columns regarding the incident in my opinion (Kansas incident). THEY ARE KIDS THAT MADE A MISTAKE! TT and the rest of the basketball team, I accept your apology so make the best of the situation and move on and don't let it happen again. The University of Kansas will be just fine just like it always has been.
