Time to fire our coordinators

Blog: Self on his way to New York to meet with the Henry's

At the end of this season we need to fire our offensive and defensive coordinators. It's the perfect time to do so because we will have a new type of QB next season and we lose a couple of leaders on our defense next season. We also lose a couple WRs, assuming Briscoe is gone.

We need to bring in two guys that have been successful at running an offense and running a defense. A guy like Bill Young. I feel like our defense has some talent this season but we just don't use it.

We all know that our offense should be really good but yet we have started out the last three games incredibly slow. And once our team gets down we have no chance of winning because our defense can't stop anybody when we need them to. Yes they held ISU at the end of the game but not at Colorado. And our defense started out OK against OU but then they let OU score a ton.

I will not watch another game until at least Bowen is gone. That guy has the worst defensive schemes that I have ever seen. I don't want to watch a team catch pass after pass after pass all over our defense unless we are going after the ball. We need turnovers to win games!

Look, if a team is going to score on us anyways why not go after the ball? I would rather the other team score from us missing an interception than let them catch every ball and then tackle the receiver.

And for the love of God can we open up the offensive playbook at the beginning of the game rather than when we are down by 14 points? Our offense is at its best when we throw all over the field and that way the pass opens up the run.

Mangino, get rid of these clowns.
